Respected industry publication, Data Center Journal recently asked Bridgeworks for its thoughts on how to alleviate one of the biggest challenges associated with transferring large volumes of data across the WAN – Data and Network latency.
Bridgeworks CEO, David Trossell, contributed his thoughts which were published by the publication in December 2016.
In his article David makes some suggestions about how to tackle the delaying affects of latency and the importance of data encryption, along with giving his thoughts on how businesses need to take a different approach to this challenge if they want a better chance of dealing with these increasing challenges as data volumes increase and data transfers are impacted even further by the latency issue.
David Trossell, quoted from Data Center Journal in December 2016, said:
“Organizations should therefore look beyond the traditional WAN-optimization players to smaller and more innovative ones that can mitigate data and network latency whenever data is to be transmitted, received and analyzed over long distances.
A company’s competitiveness, profitability, customer relationships and efficiency may depend on it. So it’s time to look anew at latency to accelerate your data, no matter where it resides—in the data center or outside of its castle walls.”
